Some Celtic fans have been talking about Jack Hendry and his situation at Parkhead.
It was recently reported by the Daily Record that Hendry is a loan target for Belgian club KV Oostende. The report claimed that they have ‘expressed an interest’ in signing the defender for the next season.
It was also revealed that the former Dundee man has returned to pre-season training with the Celtic squad.
This news about Oostende being interested in Hendry was relayed on Twitter by @celticbible recently. This caught the attention of many Hoops fans and they made their opinion clear. Some of them said that they want Hendry gone from Parkhead.

Hendry was loaned out to Australian club Melbourne City in the January of 2020. After joining the A-League side, Hendry made only two appearances but his progress was derailed by a medial collateral ligament injury. He also underwent surgery for that injury.
Despite him having returned to training with the Hoops, Celtic fans didn’t seem too keen on the 25-year-old defender as they didn’t have positive things to say for him.
Will pay for his flight https://t.co/Qf8H10Mj37

Before heading to the A-League in January, Hendry made just a single appearance for the Hoops in the 2019/20 season. That appearance came in the League Cup and he didn’t play once in the Premiership (via Transfermarkt).
This shows that he isn’t seen as a first-team player by Neil Lennon. He is 25 and at an age where he needs regular first-team football. Celtic can’t offer that and a move away from Parkhead could be best for his career.
