Elhamed had joined Celtic from Hapoel Beer Sheva in the summer of 2019 for a fee of £1.62 million. Since arriving at Parkhead, Elhamed has made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops. He has played five Premiership games and apart from playing at centre-back, he has also played at right-back (via Transfermarkt).
Some other Celtic fans also made demands to see images of other players.

While Elhamed did feature for the Bhoys earlier in the 2019/20 campaign, he couldn’t later on as he suffered a muscle injury. Because of that, he missed as many as 25 games in all competitions. But before the season was cancelled some weeks ago, he did return from injury to play nine minutes against St. Mirren.
The fact that he was played before injury shows that Neil Lennon sees him as part of the squad. Celtic fans can only hope that he stays away from injury next season and plays a role in helping them win the tenth Premiership title in a row next season.
