Some Celtic fans have been talking about the latest update that the club issued on social media.
The official Celtic Twitter account recently relayed this statement. It was a link to the club’s official website and the statement talked about the fact that the Scottish football authorities and the Scottish government recently held a meeting about resuming the game in the country.
The statement also confirmed that players can return to training in the country on the 11th of June and that is the currently ‘targeted’ date. Peter Lawwell’s comments were also present in the statement and he welcomed the decision following the meeting.
Many Celtic fans flocked to this tweet. They had different things to say about it. Some talked about whether the club is issuing season ticket refunds or not.

Nice one Pedro lad, how about season ticket refunds?

Should Celtic issue a full season ticket refund?
For sure
Don't think they can do it
No mention of what our ST comprises of yet but we’ve to pony our money up anyway.

It worries me that our bid for 10 in a row could be jeopardised at any time in the season by ‘forced’ self isolation of players due to the virus. There could be serious repercussions. I hope management give serious thought to this.

Any information on season ticket payments, have been paying for two months. What are clubs plans around this?

Celtic fans are bound to be concerned about their season tickets for the 2019-20 campaign. The season was cancelled, with the Hoops being crowned the champions for the ninth consecutive time. CeltsAreHere recently released an article about the issue surrounding the refunds, saying that the club has handled this ‘poorly’ and are refunding only a percentage of the season ticket price.
Not just this, many Celtic fans saw this as a chance to talk about Jonny Hayes and Odsonne Edouard. While Hayes has left Celtic, Edouard continues to be linked with a move away from Parkhead.
Ok? But that’s not Odsonne Édouard new contract. pic.twitter.com/qLRBOvxb1a

One fan even urged the club to not play until the fans are allowed back into the stadium.

While Celtic fans have a lot of things of their minds, the decision to resume training in Scotland could suggest that football in the country will return soon. It could bring much-needed cheer for the Hoops fans and they should be delighted by that.
