A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a post from NUFC 360, which has relayed news from the Evening Chronicle regarding any potential refunds of ticket money.
Included in the replies is a link to the article, and The Chronicle claim that they have tried to contact Newcastle United to talk about potentially refunding fans, but they have received no communication from the club.
Other Premier League clubs have begun handing out refunds after the Premier League announced that the rest of the season would be finished behind closed doors.
However, Newcastle have refused to comment on refunds and this has angered these Toon fans.
Do you think the takeover is impacting refunds?
Yes
No
Seriously better be a case of they’re waiting to see what happens with the takeover. But knowing Mike Ashley, it’s because of his cash greed

In Ashley’s tiny mind it’s not his problem unless the takeover fails.

Ashley, Charnley disgraceful hopefully these 2 clowns are gone soon

Newcastle are in the middle of a proposed takeover that will see Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium take the Toon from Mike Ashley.
The deal is with the Premier League going through the required checks and many Newcastle fans think that the takeover is impacting the Toon’s ability to provide refunds.
Why would they? They’re trying to sell the club.

I’m guessing club’s assets are frozen until the takeover is complete.
if so, the club wont be paying out anything other than the standard day to day running costs.

The club is in no man zone, one side(Mike Ashley) has signed off so he has washed his hands with it, the other side(buyers) can’t touch it until the PL give the green light, it’s as simple as that, nothing will happen until it’s done deal or it’s blocked

This is an interesting way to look at it, but if that was the case, someone from the Toon could come out and say something rather than leave fans with this wall of silence.
This lack of communication has annoyed these Toon fans.
Mistake in headline there, should be hierarchy don’t communicate with fans
— AB (@_Sha_Mon_) May 30, 2020
They can’t communicate it because there’s no intention to provide it… perhaps
— Mr P (@ipickering) May 30, 2020
Could’ve left this at “Newcastle United hierarchy are yet to communicate…” ?

The takeover is dragging on with issues over links between the Saudi government and the piracy station BeoutQ causing delays, and while the Premier League continue to take their time, money for matches that fans won’t be able to go and see remains with their club.
For the sake of these Toon fans who want to know what is happening with their money, we hope the Premier League make a decision on this takeover soon.
