Some Celtic fans have been fuming at Charlie Nicholas after a post involving the pundit caught their attention on social media.
Nicholas recently wrote about Celtic in his latest column for the Daily Express (via Daily Record). He talked about the players that the Hoops should sell in the near future.
He argued that the club should offload Olivier Ntcham, saying that he isn’t getting enough game time and he sees the midfielder leaving. He also tipped Vakoun Bayo to depart Parkhead, while he feels that the Hoops should have sold Boli Bolingoli instead of letting Jonny Hayes leave the club – claiming that it was ‘weird’ that Neil Lennon allowed the Irishman to depart.
Nicholas also urged the club to sign Fraser Forster on a permanent basis.
The Daily Record relayed this on Twitter. This attracted many Celtic fans and some had a negative opinion about Nicholas.
If he was in charge we’d get relegated

Are Celtic fans right to criticise Nicholas?
Yes, he's clueless
No, he's right
Knows nothing.

While these two fans weren’t pleased, one Celtic fan felt that Nicholas was right in his judgement about the players.
He’s right. Never thought I would say that.

The Scottish Sun also relayed this update involving Nicholas. That attracted more Celtic fans and they made their anger about the pundit very clear. Two fans even demanded his removal from Sky Sports.
3 that Sky Sports should offload this summer: Charlie Nicholas, Kris Boyd, Andy Walker.

what do you know about Celtic? never seen them play in years. stick to sky sports and arsenal your opinion is not welcome. i don’t know why everyone is so desperate to sell Ntcham for me i would rather sell Rogic yes he’s a good player but doesn’t like the dirty side of the game

Remove them all, maybe keep Elidh Barbour but that’s it

Clearly, a vast majority of Celtic fans don’t have a liking for Nicholas despite the fact that he had two spells at Parkhead during his playing days. He is certainly entitled to his opinion like the fans are – though his opinion should perhaps be more respected considering that he has been at the club in the past.
