Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from Hoops defender Christopher Jullien. 

This comes after the Frenchman shared a post on his official Twitter page quote-tweeting a post from the official SPFL Twitter account which revealed that Jullien has been voted as the Scottish Premiership’s best centre-back and will be included in the SPFL’s Team of the Season.

Jullien captioned his quoted tweet thanking the fans that had voted for him.

This post from the defender then gathered a lot of replies from Celtic fans who were quick to share their own messages to the 27-year-old.

Jullien signed to the Scottish club in the previous summer transfer window from French club Toulouse for a fee of £7.2 million, according to Transfermarkt.

In his debut season for Neil Lennon’s team, Jullien has made a total of 46 appearances in which he has managed to score seven goals and provide two assists, with both assist and four of the goals coming in the Premiership (per Transfermarkt).

As well as the domestic league, Jullien has managed to match his impressive start in the Premiership to Celtic’s Europa League campaign this season. In his eight appearances in the competition, Jullien has been awarded a rating of 7.27/10, making him the second-highest-rated Celtic player for their Europa League campaign (per WhoScored).

Now that Jullien has shared this post on his Twitter page sharing his thanks to the fans that had voted for him in the SPFL’s Team of the Season, this paved the way for lots of Celtic fans to share their love for the defender.
