Many Celtic fans have flocked to a recent tweet from their central defender Christopher Jullien. The 27-year-old shared an image of himself on the training ground with the following caption: ‘F.i.n.a.l.l.y…. Feet on the grass’.

The Scottish champions returned to training earlier this month for the first time since March (as per The Scotsman) and judging by his post, Jullien is delighted to be back at work. The Frenchman joined the Hoops from Toulouse in July 2019 in a deal reportedly worth £7.2m and signed a contract that will keep him in Glasgow until 2023 (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).

Starting with an easy one- apart from Paris Saint-Germain, which other French club did Edouard play for?

Here is how some of the club’s supporters have responded to their player’s post.

Would you say Christopher Jullien was a bargain at £7.2m?

Jullien was a key player for Neil Lennon’s side this season, making 28 appearances in the league and starting 93% of Celtic’s Scottish Premiership fixtures up until the campaign was brought to a halt by the global pandemic (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).

It’s clear from the above responses that Jullien is a popular figure amongst these supporters and they cannot wait to see him and the rest of their team return to action. The 2020/21 Scottish Premiership season is scheduled to start on the weekend of 1 August behind closed doors (as per BBC Sport) and hopefully it won’t be too long before the Celtic faithful can return to the stands to watch their heroes in action.
