Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been flocking to an image which was posted to Twitter by the Old Gold’s Portuguese midfielder Joao Moutinho.
On Wednesday, the 33-year-old middleman posted a photo which had been taken during a training session at Compton Park to social media (per Joao Moutinho).
In the image, several first-team players are posing with Moutinho and the Portuguese international commented: ‘Winning Team‘ alongside the photo.
The Old Gold’s first-team squad have been back in training for a number of weeks now after returning to the training ground from 11th May (per Sky Sports).
It was then announced on the 18th that small group training sessions would be reintroduced across England’s top division (per Wolves).
Nine days later, on the 27th, a further announcement from the Old Gold revealed that contact training was set to resume after Premier League shareholders voted in favour of it (per Wolves).
So, after Moutinho relayed the image of some of Wolves’ first-team squad to social media on Wednesday, supporters flocked to it to air their responses.

Moutinho has been situated at Molineux since the summer of 2018, when he arrived for a fee of £5 million from Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco (per BBC).
Following his tweet, Wolves fans made it clear that the player has earned their admiration since then.

Despite being 33 years old now, Moutinho has been in impressive form for the Old Gold so far this season across his 29 Premier League appearances (per WhoScored).
In those outings, a 7.09/10 average rating has made the Portuguese international Wolves’ fourth-best performer in the league.
