According to AreaNapoli, West Ham United are one of a number of clubs who have been offered the services of Cengiz Under by Roma.
The news was relayed by Sport Witness, which claims that the Italian club need to raise money and will be unable to do any transfer business this summer unless they sell. The report says that Under has been offered to Napoli and Borussia Dortmund before listing Everton and the Hammers as possible alternative destinations for the Turkish international.
It’s said that West Ham’s interest in the 22-year-old would ‘depend entirely’ on whether they are able to avoid relegation to the Championship. According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the Roma winger is valued at £21.6m, though Sport Witness says the Serie A giants are looking for €35m (£31.98m), while the east London club’s stance regarding the potential fee remains unknown.
Under has played 16 times in the Italian top flight this season, scoring three goals for the Giallorossi and earning an average performance rating of 6.91/10, according to WhoScored.com. His strengths lay in his ability to dribble, shoot from long distances and produce crosses. However, he is thought to be weak in aerial duels and offers little contribution defensively.

TIF Thoughts…
David Moyes’ side currently sit in 17th place in the Premier League. Despite being outside of the drop zone at present, they are ahead of Bournemouth in 18th only on goal difference (via premierleague.com).
In our view, the focus at the London Stadium should be solely on avoiding relegation as opposed to summer transfer targets.
