Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a reported claim from Jose Mourinho that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is out of his depth at Manchester United.
According to The Athletic (via Hotspur Related), the Portuguese manager has been telling people that the Norwegian is perhaps not cut out for the job at Manchester United. The 57-year-old has, of course, spent time in charge of the Red Devils in the past, winning the League Cup and Europa League during his time there, before being sacked in December 2018 (per BBC).
Earlier in the season, it was Solskjaer who triumphed against Mourinho in the game at Old Trafford, as Marcus Rashford’s brace saw United take all three points on Mourinho’s return to his old club (per BBC). With the Lilywhites set to face Solskjaer’s side in their re-opening game in the Premier League this Friday, you wonder whether Mourinho’s reported comments might come back to haunt him, as a defeat would surely deal a lot of damage to the North London club’s top-four hopes.
What do you think the result will be this Friday?
Spurs win
United win

Some Spurs fans felt it was unwise for Mourinho to reportedly say this just before Friday’s game.
So we losing on Friday then

Full time Tottenham Hotspur 0 – 3 Manchester United

Others just felt it was a strange thing for Mourinho to say, perhaps considering that Spurs are currently eighth in the Premier League table, four points behind United (per BBC).
Think Jose might be out his depth.

Someone needs to explain Spursy to José as quickly as possible.

Overall, it seems as if the majority of Spurs fans aren’t too impressed with Mourinho’s comments on Solskjaer. If United can rediscover the same sort of form they were showing before the enforced break, then Spurs will certainly be in for a tough game this Friday night.
