Spurs fans on Twitter have flocked to a post from Harry Kane.

The 26-year-old simply posted on his Twitter page, saying: “So happy to be watching live golf again!” This comes as the PGA Tour made a comeback this week with the Charles Schwab Challenge taking place in Texas.

How well do you remember Heung-Min Son's time with Spurs? - The Lilywhites signed Son from which Bundesliga side?

The academy graduate is no doubt working hard ahead of the Premier League’s resumption later this month, with Spurs’ first fixture against Manchester United next Friday. The England captain spoke about the remaining Premier League games in May, suggesting that the Lilywhites would need to win seven or eight of their remaining nine fixtures if they want to secure a top-four spot this season.

Do you want to see Bale back at the club?

Therefore, he will surely agree that the opening game against fellow top-four hopefuls Manchester United could be hugely important in determining whether or not Jose Mourinho’s side can secure Champions League football for next season.

Reaction from Spurs fans to the post from Kane can be seen in the tweets below.

Other Spurs fans made reference to Gareth Bale, which is perhaps unsurprising considering the Welshman’s love for golf. The former Spurs man risked his relationship with Zinedine Zidane and Madrid fans even further when he unveiled a banner following Wales’ qualification for Euro 2020, which said: “Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order.” (per BBC). With the 30-year-old regularly linked with a move back to the Lilywhites, perhaps some fans feel that Kane tweeting about golf is a good sign that he and Bale would be an excellent combination should he ever return to the North London club.

Some Spurs fans just wanted to compliment their striker, however.

Overall, it seems as if the majority of Spurs fans enjoyed the tweet from Kane and will be hoping to see the 26-year-old improve on his current goal tally of 17 when the season resumes next week.
