Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to praise the performance of Giovani Lo Celso in the 2-0 win against West Ham United on Tuesday night.
The Argentinian impressed in his performance against the Hammers, earning a 7.62 rating for his performance (per WhoScored). The 24-year-old was perhaps unfortunate not to register his first Premier League assist of the season in the first half, as his pass found Heung-Min Son, who finished well but saw his goal disallowed after a VAR check.
The former Real Betis man has established himself as a regular in Jose Mourinho’s side since signing on a permanent basis in the January transfer window, having made 21 appearances in the top flight so far this season. After his impressive performance on Tuesday night, it is hard to see him being dropped for Spurs’ upcoming fixtures.

A comfortable and decent performance from Spurs tonight. Great to see us attacking throughout the game. Son unlucky with VAR, Lo Celso is class and a brilliant finish from Kane. 9 days until Sheffield United away. Let’s keep winning! Up to 7th #COYS #THFC #TOTWHU pic.twitter.com/4wfiE9FQ0b

Lo Celso is our main man in there no need to risk playing with NDombele when you’re likely to get very little from him. Get to the summer see if we can move him on #thfc

The Argentinian’s performance certainly seemed to leave a lot of Spurs fans drooling.
Enjoyed that this evening and can see the players now understand what Jose wants from them. But ……….. Lo Celso different class #THFC #COYS

I’d argue he looked a lot better than Dele today. If we’re gonna line up like today with Lo Celso deeper, I’d rather see Lamela over Dele atm

Lo Celso by far. Had some strong glimpses of Mousa Dembele in his performance today

Lo Celso and Bergwijn are the future of this team. Two of the best Spurs buys in ages. #THFC https://t.co/qRpZcbVsnR

Aurier, Dier and Davies were solid in the back. Le Celso reminds me of Modric. Lamela and Bergwijn made good impressions and Kane scored!!
Concerned that Ndombele still isn’t getting minutes.#coys #thfc— Ian Ayers (@ayers79) June 23, 2020
Delighted with a win! Lo celso was different gravy. Shaky first 30mins but totally took control after that. Deserved win. Just a shame we didnt see ndombel or toby. Great win still #thfc #COYS

Gio Lo Celso is a rolls Royce of a player though. Love watching him play. #thfc #COYS

These Spurs fans clearly loved the performance from Lo Celso and will be hoping to see similar performances from the midfielder in their remaining seven fixtures, as they eye up a top-four finish.
