Heung-min Son at Tottenham Hotspur

How well do you remember Heung-Min Son's time with Spurs? - The Lilywhites signed Son from which Bundesliga side?

They have been talking all things Tottenham Hotspur and discussed various subjects, including Serge Aurier and potential replacements for the former PSG man.

One such name mentioned was Matty Cash, and Clark provided his lowdown on the Nottingham Forest man.

Here is what he had to say about Cash:

“He’s played a mixture of different roles, I think this season he’s been more fixed into the right-back role.

“He looks good, doing good. Obviously, he wants to continue to develop on his defensive game.

“If we are looking at Aurier-role players, then Cash and [Jayden] Bogle, Championship full-backs, who are outstanding attacking, could do with some defensive work, are the ones to be looking at.”

It seems as if Clark believes if Spurs are to find a replacement for Aurier, they should look at Cash or Bogle.

Would you like to see Tottenham make a move for Cash?

TIF Thoughts…

Cash has played 33 games at right-back this season for Forest, and in that time, he has scored three goals and provided five assists and earned an average rating of 7.36/10.

As well as this, he has also made on average 1.2 key passes per match and plays on average 34.5 passes per game.

On the defensive side of his game, he ranks second for tackles and fourth for interceptions in Forest’s squad – so he is clearly a good player.

Therefore, it appears as if Clark likes him, so it will be interesting to see if Tottenham are monitoring him and decide to make a move.
