Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a transfer link which has emerged between the club and Real Madrid’s Achraf Hakimi.

According to 90min, Jose Mourinho’s outfit has enquired about the availability of the 21-year-old right-back.

However, the North London club will likely face stern competition in their efforts to tempt the Madrid-born Moroccan international to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

In the Premier League, Manchester City and Chelsea form a trio of interested parties alongside Spurs.

Meanwhile, the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Inter and Juventus are all keeping tabs on the player while Borussia Dortmund are ‘desperate’ to keep their on-loan man permanently according to 90min.

So, after the report was shared to Spurs fans on Twitter (via @thespursweb), supporters aired their thoughts on the link to the defender.

This season, Hakimi has been in impressive form for his Bundesliga club having been their fifth-best performer with a 7.39/10 average rating (per WhoScored), leaving many fans doubting the link.

To bag his stellar average rating in the Bundesliga this season, the right-back has impressively scored five goals and assisted ten for teammates.

Do you believe there is any chance of Spurs signing Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid?

Despite many Spurs fans believing that Hakimi was a quality player, there were very few that believed the club could tempt the right-back to North London.

However, some supporters were choosing to be a little more optimistic about their chances.

As can be seen in most of the responses from the London Stadium faithful, however, there is not much belief that the club has the pulling power to sign the Real Madrid defender.
