Fans of Tottenham have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays news that Jonathan Moss has been appointed as the referee for the club’s upcoming fixture against Manchester United.
The appointment, which was confirmed on the Premier League website, will be the 29th time that Moss has overseen a Tottenham match.

Eriksen’s head sticking out of Moss’s makes me think he can’t see or hear past the first man.

Although a match official is obviously impartial – as it is the embodiment of the profession – it does appear that, from the two club’s records with Moss as referee, Manchester United seem to fare much better than Spurs when Moss is in charge.
Having said this, it is most likely simply a coincidence, as much as that United could have just played better than Spurs in their fixtures with Moss as the referee.
Are you happy with the appointment of Jonathan Moss for the United game?
Yes
No
And it would seem that some Spurs fans remain confident of Tottenham’s chances in the fixture, despite the appointment of Moss.
Not our problem tho, we will still win

In any case, it is likely that Spurs fans will be hoping that their side can achieve victory against United in the fixture, regardless of who is officiating the match.
