A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from NUFC 360, which has a link included in it to a report on Lazio’s Ciro Immobile.
Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Toon are prepared to offer €55m (£49.4m) to Lazio for their Italian striker and then a further €8m per year for five years to the player.
This has drawn a reaction from these Toon fans who do not believe that their club will be making any such offer to Immobile or Lazio.
Do you think Newcastle will make a move for Immobile?
No
Yes
Don’t think Mike Ashley would pay they much for a 30 year old whose failed to perform outside of Italy ?

It actually says 55 million and the rest in wages for the player but still ludicrous

The 30-year-old has been in sparkling form this season, with Lazio mounting a title charge, and he has scored 27 goals in Serie A and 30 overall.
However, if this report were true, Newcastle would be paying a lot of money for someone who would be 35 by the time his contract at St James’ Park expired.
Despite this, though, there were a few Newcastle fans who were keen on the idea of signing Immobile despite his age.
If only this was true man ? hahah

He’s only 30 . 135m is a bargain ??

Newcastle are currently in the middle of a proposed takeover by Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium, a deal that, if approved, would make the Toon very wealthy and would allow them to try for deals like this.
However, the deal is currently with the Premier League as they decide if they are going to pass it or not, and there have been some issues and challenges along the way.
The main problem appears to be piracy in Saudi Arabia, and it is claimed that the Premier League might want concessions from the Saudis before they pass their takeover.
These could include closing BeoutQ, a piracy station, and unblocking BeIN Sports.
So, until the takeover is either approved or rejected, we feel it is pointless to speculate on players the Toon might buy in the summer.
