Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest news on Juan Foyth, which suggests that the defender will join Leeds United on loan next season.

According to Argentinian journalist Nicolas Bozza (via Daily Hotspur), the young defender will join Marcelo Bielsa’s side on loan next season. It remains to be seen whether or not that will be in the Premier League, with the Whites currently occupying top spot in the Championship, with fixtures set to resume later this month.

How well do you remember Heung-Min Son's time with Spurs? - The Lilywhites signed Son from which Bundesliga side?

Since signing from Estudiantes in 2017, the Argentine has made just 32 appearances for the North London club, contributing one goal and no assists (per Transfermarkt). Despite his lack of game time for the Lilywhites, the 22-year-old has established himself as a regular in Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina side in recent years, having earnt 10 caps for the senior side (per Transfermarkt).

Do you think this is a good move for Foyth?

The season so far for Foyth has been something of a struggle, with the youngster having made just one start in the Premier League, which saw him shipped off at half time in the 2-2 draw against Norwich City after a disappointing first-half performance which saw him earn a 5.4/10 rating (per WhoScored). This was his last appearance under Jose Mourinho, so it is no surprise to see him being linked with a move away from the Lilywhites this summer.

Reaction from Spurs fans to the reported news on Foyth can be seen in the tweets below.

Lots of Spurs fans seem to think that it would be a great move for Foyth.

Other Spurs fans are less convinced, however, and feel that Foyth should perhaps be departing on a permanent deal, or isn’t good enough for the Lilywhites.

Overall, it seems as if the majority of Spurs fans feel this would be a good move for Foyth and will be hoping to see the 22-year-old develop with regular game time under Bielsa.
