A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from Steve Wraith, which includes a link to a tweet from @nufctel that includes two screenshots of two articles by the Daily Express.
The first one claims that the Toon’s proposed takeover is in huge doubt, while the second one states that the takeover will go through despite a delay.
This post from Wraith has attracted the attention of these Toon fans, who are baffled by the constant up-and-down nature of stories regarding this takeover.
Mental isn’t it. Whatever the result of this takeover is, people need to remember this established clickbait ‘journalism’ we have now.

Lol ? that’s pathetic when you see it like that

Perfectly sums up why we should only read/take notice of a few select Toon fans HWTL ??

Do you agree with Wraith?
Yes
No
It is understandable that this saga and the constant reporting of it has irritated many Newcastle fans, though, despite this, some remain very positive that the deal will go ahead.
Correct, we’re in extremely unprecedented times and people don’t understand the magnitude of the situation. The Premier League have a million and one things to deal with right now, as have Ashley and Staveley with their respective lawsuits! Patience is key ?? #cans ??

I blame Ashley. He sells out to one of the richest buyers we could ever wish for and we still feel depressed.

I have never wavered in my belief of this.. IT WILL HAPPEN and we can wait

Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed bid to take Newcastle from Mike Ashley has been with the Premier League for a while now after a deposit was paid to Ashley.
However, concerns over piracy and, in particular, a link between the Saudi government and BeoutQ has caused serious problems for the Premier League.
However, Wraith has remained extremely positive throughout this process, and a quick look through his timeline will reveal this.
Even in the replies to this tweet, he still sounds confident about the takeover, but surely even he can’t ignore the issue of piracy in Saudi Arabia?
Matt Slater claims that the Premier League want Saudi Arabia to make some concessions before they approve this takeover.
These would include shutting down BeoutQ and unblocking beIN Sports in the country.
However, it remains to be seen if the Saudis decide to do this or not.
