A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from NUFC Gallowgate that includes a video clip from TalkSPORT.
The video shows Simon Jordan having a go at Mike Ashley and the Toon for continuing to take season ticket money even after the Premier League has confirmed that the rest of the season would be played behind closed doors.
This led to the former Crystal Palace owner claiming that he ‘cannot believe that there will be a justification‘ for any Premier League club to charge season ticket money, only to not provide the game nor give the money back. (1:07)
He then added that Newcastle should be communicating with their fans and that there should be a refund policy in place. (1:28)
Jordan also added a line in about the Toon’s proposed takeover, claiming that the new owners would be in ‘sooner rather than later‘. (0:44)
Do you agree with Simon Jordan?
Yes, he has got it spot on
No, he doesn't believe what he is saying
However, it was Jordan’s comments on season ticket money that have drawn the attention of these Toon fans.
He’s spot on

Jordan has previously criticised Newcastle in the past – so some Toon fans are surprised by his latest comments.
Some seem to feel that he is up to something.

Newcastle have continued to take money from their fans and are yet to provide an answer as to why this is the case – meaning there has been no communication from the club, while an article produced by The Athletic revealed that fans of EFL clubs can now start legal action to get their money back.
A similar scenario could all be avoided if the Toon released a statement, but instead, they have said nothing.
Pete Graves believes that the proposed takeover of the Toon is the reason for the club holding onto season ticket money – but if that were the case, should they not say something?
Jordan makes some valid points in his argument, and it seems that he has many Toon fans on his side.
