A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a post from Pete Graves as he revealed his feelings on the ongoing takeover of Newcastle United.
The Sky Sports man claimed that he had been hoping the Toon’s takeover would be announced last week as various sources suggested that it would be – before adding that he now expects a resolution to be found this week.
This has drawn the attention of these Toon fans, who are sick of this whole saga.
Do you trust Graves on this?

The deal for Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium to take Newcastle from Mike Ashley was agreed with the current Toon owner in April, and a deposit was paid to him.
However, here we are near the end of June, and still, nothing has been decided by the Premier League.
It had been hoped that with Saudi Arabia launching a crackdown on piracy and sending a letter to major sports bodies saying that it will accept responsibility for piracy, the takeover would be completed last week.
However, that turned out to be a false dawn, and we now rumble on into another week.
Graves’ tweet continued to draw the attention of many Toon fans who remain confident this takeover will happen.
Let’s hope. End of day aslong as its the outcome we all hoped for it will be worth the wait.

Good news man lads, All this waiting will be worth it I’m sure of it.. They wouldn’t have dragged it threw all this time just to reject it, They’ve been putting things in place and sorting the piracy situation which is more or less sorted, Now it’s time for the green light ????

The process seems to have angered Steve Bruce.
He claimed in yesterday’s post-match press conference following Newcastle’s defeat to Manchester City in their FA Cup quarter-final that the Premier League needs to decide because it is not helping anybody.
This whole saga has been plagued by issues over piracy, and although Saudi Arabia has made promises to end piracy in their country, the PL has still not reached a decision.
We can only hope that Graves is right, and this will be the week for a decision from the Premier League.
