West Brom’s 19-year-old attacker Rayhaan Tulloch is set to commit his future to the Baggies and sign a new “long-term contract” with the club according to an article that was recently published by The Athletic

The attacker was previously linked with a departure from the club back in February, as he and the Baggies had struggled to come to terms on a new deal. However, now, The Athletic has reported that there may have been a breakthrough in negotiations between Tulloch and West Brom, despite Scottish Premiership club Rangers allegedly showing interest in the 19-year-old, as claimed in this report.

We will look at Marcelo Bielsa to kick off this quiz on the Championship's managers, which of these national teams has the Leeds United boss managed?

According to Transfermarkt, Tulloch has made just five appearances for the Baggies’ first-team thus far in his career, all of which have come in the FA Cup. However, the 19-year-old has performed impressively at U23 level this season, bagging nine goals and providing four assists in his 14 Premier League 2 games during the 2019/20 campaign.

Only four players have provided a higher number of goal contributions than Tulloch has in the Premier League 2 this season. With that in mind, it may be fair to say that the 19-year-old has been one of the more promising players in England playing at this level during the 2019/20 season.

TIF Thoughts…

Considering how well he has performed in the Premier League 2 this term, Tulloch may be an exciting prospect for Baggies supporters and with that in mind, this news regarding his future may be met with a positive reaction by plenty of the club’s fans.

This report from The Athletic goes on to state that should the Baggies earn promotion to the Premier League for next season, then Tulloch “could be loaned to a club in the Championship or League One” and this may be a positive step for the 19-year-old’s career after an impressive season at U23 level.
