TIF Thoughts…

Jones is a centre-midfielder by trade and has impressed for the Under-23s, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in the Premier League 2 (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk).

In order for the youngster to become a regular, he would have to really impress Jurgen Klopp in training, given that at the moment, Georginio Wijnaldum, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner are amongst those currently ahead of him in the pecking order.

The Reds are closing in on their first Premier League title and it will be interesting to see whether Jones will be handed an opportunity to prove himself in the top flight should Jurgen Klopp’s side wrap up the prize within a couple of weeks.
