Many Liverpool supporters have been responding to a recent Twitter post from football writer @DaveOCKOP, in which he shared highlights of the first-team squad’s recent training match. The footage was originally uploaded by @ALFComps1 and O’Connell specified how the two sides lined up.
Jurgen Klopp is putting his team through their paces as they prepare for the Premier League’s expected restart later this month. The Reds are just two wins away from securing their first league title since the 1989/90 season when Kenny Dalglish was the man in charge.
Having previously shared a snippet from the practice game earlier in the day, Dave O’Connell shared a more extensive highlights reel from the training game at Anfield, which pitted two Liverpool sides against each other.
Here is how a sample of the Anfield faithful have responded to the footage.
Some pretty awful finishing but the lads look good

Are you buzzing about the Premier League's return?
Yes
No
A number of fans even mentioned Roberto Firmino’s struggles in front of goal.
Firmino should have scored that

Many fans have jumped to conclusions having studied the post but in our view, it is impossible to make definitive judgements on the condition of some of these players based on a short highlights clip. There is still at least two weeks until the season is scheduled to resume and therefore we would expect that Klopp’s men will be in far better shape by then.
The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League, 25 points clear of closest challengers and last season’s champions Manchester City. Although any title celebrations will be somewhat unusual due to the social distancing measures in place, that shouldn’t distract from the fact Liverpool, in our view, have been outstanding this season.
