Liverpool are reportedly eyeing up a transfer move for two Turkish young players this summer.

This comes after a report from Yeni Asir (via Sport Witness) claimed that Liverpool are in talks with Turkish second-tier club Altinordu over a potential double swoop for Ravil Tagir and Burak Ince.

The report claims that Liverpool are offering €7.5m (£6.7m) for the pair as both clubs negotiate over the deal.

The report also added that the Turkish club apparently wants 30% of any future transfer fees for the players.

Tagir is a 17-year-old centre-half who has made 27 appearances for the Turkish club so far this season, scoring one goal along the way (per Transfermarkt).

Ince is a 16-year-old midfielder who has made 16 league appearances for Altinordu so far this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist along the way (per Transfermarkt).

The report claims that even if a deal is met between the two clubs, the pair will remain in Turkey until they turn 18-year-old and are able to get a permit to work in the UK.

TIF Thoughts…

If this report is accurate and Liverpool are working on a deal to sign these two teenagers, this shows that they are impressed with the duo and believe they have what it takes to be a useful addition in the youth squads and maybe go on to become regular figures in the first team in the future.

This also shows that Liverpool are a club that values young players and helping them develop their skills as players for the future.
