Liverpool are reportedly in the race amongst other clubs to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore.

This comes after it was recently reported in Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness) that Traore has multiple offers from clubs to move away from Wolves this summer, with Liverpool being one of those options.

2018/19 season quiz: How many points did Jurgen Klopp's side accumulate in the Premier League?

Traore first signed to the Midlands club back in the 2018 summer transfer window from Middlesbrough for a fee of £18 million.

Since then, the 24-year-old has gone on to make 81 appearances for Wolves, in which he has managed to score seven goals and provide 15 assists (per Transfermarkt), with six of those goals and 12 of the assists coming in the current campaign.

The Spaniard has been in stunning form for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side this season, having earned himself a season rating of 7.6/10 for his performances over 30 Premier League appearances, making him Wolves’ highest-rated player for this campaign.

TIF Thoughts…

Traore could well be a good fit for Jurgen Klopp’s side if he does decide to make the move to Anfield, as WhoScored claims some of his strengths include dribbling, crossing and his ability to make key passes.

This could make him a decent signing for Liverpool, as some of their strengths include their ability to attack down the wings and creating chances using through balls.

However, if this report is accurate, then Traore may not even choose to move to Liverpool should he wish to depart Molineux, as other clubs are reportedly interested in signing him as well.

Considering how impressive he’s been for Wolves this season, you would assume that they would try and do all they can to try and keep him at the club for the foreseeable future.
