Can you score 20/20 on this Premier League quiz? Starting off easy, who is the top scorer in the Premier League this season?

On the podcast, Tanner was asked what he believes Foxes fans can expect from Vardy when England’s top flight returns this weekend, and the journalist provided a positive update on the striker in response to this question.

Tanner said: “He’ll be champing at the bit because he just loves to play football and three months away from it is the longest period he will have had away from playing for a very long time, so I can imagine he’ll be raring to go when it all starts again and he’s going to be such a key player for them.

“He’s the talisman, if they’re going to qualify for Champions League football, they need him firing and on form.”

Do you think that Jamie Vardy will end the season as the Premier League's top goalscorer?

TIF Thoughts…

Leicester City supporters might be excited about this update on Vardy ahead of their clash with Watford this weekend. The 33-year-old striker has been enjoying some impressive form this season, scoring 19 goals in his 26 Premier League appearances for the Foxes.

This goal tally means that Vardy has netted just under a third of his side’s 58 league goals this season. Additionally, the Leicester City man is currently the top goalscorer in England’s top flight for the 2019/20 campaign, with two goals between him and the league’s second-highest goalscorer, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Considering how important he has been for his club this term, it may be positive news for Foxes fans that the attacker is said to be “champing at the bit” to return to Premier League action.
