Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb has published an article discussing some comments that were recently made by alleged Chelsea and Everton target Bartlomiej Dragowski after he recently spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport about his future.

Dragowski states that his future lies in Florence in his recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, going on to declare that he doesn’t listen to rumours linking him with a transfer away from the club. Tuttomercatoweb has reported that these latest comments provide a contrast to Dragowski’s alleged feelings regarding his future a year ago when they claim he reportedly indicated that he desired a move away from Fiorentina.

This report from Tuttomercatoweb states that his desire to leave Fiorentina was so strong a year ago that he attracted interest from Premier League clubs Everton and Chelsea.

We'll start easy for this Everton kits quiz, which shirt sponsor did the Toffees announce that their partnership with would be being brought to a premature end earlier this season?

It may not come as a huge surprise for Everton fans to see this report claiming that they have been targeting Dragowski, considering that the Toffees’ current goalkeeper Jordan Pickford hasn’t been performing particularly impressively during the 2019/20 campaign. Pickford has earned an average overall rating of 6.35 from his 29 Premier League appearances this season according to WhoScored. This makes the goalkeeper Everton’s sixth-lowest rated player in England’s top flight this term.

Meanwhile, Dragowski has earned a more impressive 6.72 average overall rating for Fiorentina in Serie A this season, making him their eighth-highest rated player in the league at present.

TIF Thoughts…

Considering that Dragowski has told La Gazzetta dello Sport that he sees his future in Florence, it may be unlikely that the 22-year-old will move to Everton this summer, even if the Toffees do look to strengthen in the goalkeeping department in the next transfer window.
