Fans of Crystal Palace have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports regarding Palace striker Alexander Sorloth.
According to reports by BBO Sports, Sorloth has decided to cancel the remainder of his loan spell with Turkish side Trabzonspor, which had been due to run until June 2021.
As such, it would appear that the 24-year-old will now link up with his Palace teammates, however, it is unclear whether Sorloth will be able to feature for Palace over their remaining fixtures of the season, as it is likely that he will not be registered for their Premier League squad.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by Palace Xtra on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many calling for the striker to be installed into the team.

So that means he’s ours still?

Get him in the XI

Since joining Trabzonspor on loan at the start of the season, Sorloth has gone on to make 26 Super Lig appearances for the club, scoring a remarkable 19 goals and providing seven assists, averaging a highly impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.61.
However, the striker has found nowhere near this level of form while in a Palace shirt, as he has only managed one goal and one assist over his 20 appearances for the South London club.
Does Sorloth deserve another chance at Palace?
Absolutely!
No chance
However, despite his fine form this season, it would seem that many of these Palace fans would like to see the player sold by the club this summer.
Were not happy that weve got a player were happy that you’ll be paying us and not them. I’m sure youd rather send the money elsewhere than to a league competitor

I’d take 10 quid for him

Meanwhile, this Palace fan appeared confused about whether or not Sorloth still belonged to his club.
Surely he doesn’t have a contract with them, we do?

Although it is indeed true that Sorloth has struggled at Palace, his form this season has been highly impressive.
As such, it is slightly surprising to see that some of these Palace fans would still like to see the 24-year-old sold this summer.
