Leeds United have made an enquiry regarding the availability of Norwich City’s Emiliano Buendia – that’s according to Read Norwich.
The source claims that they are not aware of how the Canaries have responded to the Whites but that they know the Championship side have asked the question.
The Argentine winger arrived in the United Kingdom from Getafe in a deal reportedly worth £1.35m (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk). He’s made 72 appearances for Norwich to date, scoring eight goals and providing his teammates with 24 assists.
Buendia is yet to score in the Premier League this season, however, he has contributed seven assists and it appears Marcelo Bielsa’s side are looking to take advantage of the position Daniel Farke’s side find themselves in – Norwich are currently bottom of the top-flight – by moving for one of their most valuable players and their most consistent performer.
The player’s strengths lay in his ability to make key passes, dribble and execute through passes and according to WhoScored.com his average performance rating in the Premier League currently stands at 7.22/10.

Despite their defeat at the weekend, the Whites remain seven points clear of Fulham in third place and therefore, in our view, stand a great chance of earning promotion back to the Premier League for the first time since their relegation in 2004.
Meanwhile, Norwich remain six points adrift of safety in the Premier League, meaning the likelihood of these two teams swapping divisions is high.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Buendia is valued at £13.05m and if Leeds were to match that valuation we could see Norwich tempted into selling the player.
