Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing German midfielder Patrick Erras this summer.
This comes after it was claimed in a recent report by Fussball Transfers (via Sport Witness) that Erras “arouses interest” from Marcelo Bielsa’s side as well as fellow Championship sides Queens Park Rangers and Brentford.
The report also added that the opportunity to train under Bielsa could be “tempting” for the FC Nurnberg player.
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has made his way through the youth system at the German club and made his debut for the senior team back in 2015 (per Transfermarkt).
Since then, the German has gone on to make 82 appearances for the club in which he has managed to score eight goals and provide three assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).
This season has seen the midfielder make a total of 19 appearances for the club across all competitions in which he has managed to score just two goals (per Transfermarkt).
Erras’ performances in his 18 appearances in Germany’s second-tier league has seen him being given a season rating of 6.58/10, making him the 10th-highest-rated player for the club in this campaign (per WhoScored).

TIF Thoughts…
Erras, who is valued at £1.08 million (Transfermarkt), could be a good fit at Leeds if they do manage to sign him this summer. One of his player strengths includes aerial duels, which could make him a good addition to Leeds’ squad as one of their weaknesses include their ability to win aerial duels (per WhoScored).
But if this report is accurate, Leeds will have to beat Brentford and QPR for Erras’ signature if they want to see him at Elland Road this summer.
