What do we think?
As per The Express and Star, Berahino recently told the ‘Counter Attack’ podcast that he would take the opportunity to return to The Hawthorns if the Baggies were interested in taking him back. This article goes on to explain that Berahino had a “very public spat with the Baggies hierarchy” during his time at the club, which stemmed from a failed move to Tottenham Hotspur in 2015.
As per Transfermarkt, Berahino is currently playing for Belgian side Zulte Waregem, where he has scored six goals and provided three assists in the Jupiler Pro League this term. However, considering the fact that the striker did have some public issues during his previous stint at The Hawthorns, it may be understandable why these Baggies fans don’t want the 26-year-old to return to the club.
