He should never have been hired in the first place. If new owners come in, they should peddle him. Pointless if these stay, they’ll give him 3 quid to rebuild the squad.

What do we think?
Parkinson joined Sunderland on 17th October, at which point the Black Cats were sitting in ninth place on the League One table. At present, Sunderland sit in seventh place on the league table, which is one place outside of the playoffs, meaning that as things stand, the Black Cats are not in a position to compete for promotion to the Championship for next season, should the current league standings be made final.
Additionally, Sunderland have played at least one more game than all teams sitting above them on the table, meaning that a ‘points-per-game’ model of determining League One’s final standings would also not work to their benefit.
Parkinson has lost 11 of his 30 games as Sunderland boss thus far, which is the same number of games that previous Black Cats boss Jack Ross had lost in the entirety of his spell at the club, despite taking charge of more than twice as many games as Parkinson has so far.
With that in mind, it may be understandable why these Sunderland fans don’t appear to be particularly fond of the club’s current manager.
