A group of Sheffield Wednesday supporters have been reacting to a post claiming that Joey Pelupessy’s representatives have held initial talks with the club regarding a contract extension.
Yorkshire Live’s Dom Howson shared the information during a recent Q&A session with some of the fans but added: “I am sure Pelupessy is not the only out of contract player that has spoken to the club.”
The Dutch midfielder’s contract is due to expire on 30th June and therefore, there are questions regarding the 26-year-old’s future. He’s made 12 appearances in the Championship so far this season but has only played 21% of the club’s total league minutes, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Here is what some of the Hillsborough faithful have had to say on the matter.
and this his why we will never go anywhere under chansiri,

Do you think Pelupessy will be at Wednesday next season?YesNo |
Seriously considering cancelling my season ticket for next year if monk is in charge and we’re renewing pelupessys contract.

What do we think?
It’s clear from the replies that none of these Sheffield Wednesday fans are particularly keen to see the midfielder extend his stay at Hillsborough. Across his 12 league appearances so far this season, he’s earned an average performance rating of 6.45/10 according to WhoScored.com.
Pelupessy, a defensive midfielder by trade, has averaged 1.4 tackles, 1.3 interceptions and 1.6 fouls per game. His ability on the ball has come in for criticism from one of these fans and his pass success percentage currently stands at 75.3%, which for somebody operating in the middle of the park, in our view, isn’t good enough.
