Some Sheffield Wednesday fans have been reacting to a tweet that was posted by Owls-focused journalist Alex Miller who shares an article that was recently published by The Sheffield Star, reporting that goalkeeping coach Tommy Lee has left Wednesday to join local rivals Sheffield United.
As per this report from The Sheffield Star, Lee, who had been working with the Owls’ academy, “has been praised for his work in developing the likes of Josh Render during his time at Wednesday.” This article goes on to explain that Lee is expected to “operate in a similar role to the one he held at Wednesday” with his new club.
Some Owls fans don’t appear to be too concerned about this news despite this report explaining that Lee had been praised for his work at their club. Meanwhile, other Owls supporters took this opportunity to call for former Owls player Kevin Pressman to replace Lee at Wednesday.

Considering that this report claims that Lee has been praised for his work at Wednesday, it may be to the benefit of the Owls’ local rivals Sheffield United that the coach has decided to join them.
