Many Rangers supporters have been discussing an image posted by the club on Twitter of Alfredo Morelos wheeling away in celebration after scoring a late goal that secured their place in the UEFA Europa League group stage.
The fixture versus Legia Warsaw took place back in August at Ibrox and Steven Gerrard’s side sealed their progress in stoppage time courtesy of their Colombian striker (as per BBC Sport). Rangers had drawn the first leg in Poland 0-0 and ‘endured a frustrating evening’ prior to Morelos’ goal, which sent the stadium into wild celebrations.
Here is how some of the club’s faithful have responded to the post.
Not a phone in sight, just limbs everywhere! ??

Absolute limbs. Had the pleasure of being sat in the Copland Rear for that game. Had an amazing view of the goal. About lost my glasses in the celebration

That was some night. Think I went down 3 flights of stairs when Alfie scored ???????????

What do we think?
Based on the above responses, we can say with some confidence this particular night is one that will live long in the memories of the Ibrox faithful. Morelos has been key to Gerrard’s side this season, having scored 29 goals and provided 10 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions. Given the recent viral outbreak, it could be a while before these loyal supporters are able to return to Ibrox to watch their heroes in action.
