Fans of Rangers have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which discusses comments made by former SPL chief executive Roger Mitchell.

The post, which was tweeted by Heart & Hand, included a screenshot of a tweet linking to a Daily Record article, which highlighted comments made by Mitchell, who suggested that Rangers should be deducted points if they don’t apologise to the SPFL and agree to end the Scottish Premiership season.

In reaction, Heart & Hand commented: “This is what we’re up against in the media and the rest of the league. Punished for raising concerns through the league’s own complaints process! And yet we have Gers fans on here rolling over to them?”

In reaction to Heart & Hand’s post, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many applauding the account for speaking out, while others have claimed that the Gers are in a war they cannot win.

Do you believe that the SPFL is a corrupt organisation?

What do we think?

Mitchell’s comments come following Rangers’ submission of a ‘dossier’ of evidence which claimed to prove bullying within the SPFL, before an SPFL spokesman stated that, after an initial review of the documents, they had “…failed to identify a single shred of evidence to support Rangers’ vociferous claims of corruption, bullying and coercion by SPFL staff.”

However, it would appear that this answer has not satisfied the Rangers fanbase, which still quite clearly believes that there is an agenda against their club.
