Motherwell end their season in third place on 46 points, 21 points behind Steven Gerrard’s team in second place and 34 behind Celtic (per BBC Sport). Now that the club have shared this post on their official Twitter page thanking the fans for their support this season, this gave lots of Rangers fans the opportunity to mock the club and the post.

It seems a bit harsh that these Rangers fans are slating Motherwell for celebrating their third-place finish in the table this season when all they were trying to do was thank the fans for their support.
