Charlton Athletic-focused Twitter account @AddicksHQ recently posted a tweet asking Addicks fans to share their thoughts on Tomer Hemed’s time at The Valley.
Hemed joined Charlton Athletic from Brighton & Hove Albion on a free transfer last summer. As per the BBC, Seagulls manager Graham Potter explained that Hemed’s departure from the club came about as a result of the Israel international being at a stage in his career where he “wants to play regular football”.
However, it may be fair to say that it doesn’t appear as though things have worked out particularly well for Hemed following his move to The Valley. The forward has featured in just 13 league games for the Addicks this term, starting just five of them. Additionally, he has failed to make a single goal contribution for Charlton in the league this term.
With that in mind, it may not come as a big surprise that some Addicks fans have been critical of Hemed in response to @AddicksHQ’s post. Read the responses of some Charlton supporters to this post in the tweets below.

What do we think?
Considering that the attacker is yet to make a single goal contribution for Charlton in the league this season, it may be fair to say that his time at The Valley hasn’t been particularly successful. According to Transfermarkt, his current Addicks contract is set to expire at the end of June and it may not be too surprising if Charlton don’t offer the 33-year-old another deal.
