Would you like to see Alfie Doughty as a regular starter for Charlton Athletic next season?YESNO |
Yes he looks a great talent just needs a bit more work but hes one of the better players we have

I don’t expect to see Alfie Doughty in a cafc shirt again. Will be one of the first to be sold as slide into administration.

I expect him to be sold along with anyone in a contract #cafc

What do we think?
Doughty has provided three league assists for the Addicks this season. Only three Charlton players have provided a higher number of Championship assists than the 20-year-old and this may indicate why some Addicks fans appear to rate Doughty quite highly.
However, as per The Evening Standard, Charlton’s current majority shareholder Tahnoon Nimer has “failed to provide source and sufficiency of funding to the EFL” since completing a takeover of the club back in January. This article explains that the EFL have launched an investigation into this takeover.
With that in mind, it may be understandable why some Addicks fans have concerns over the club’s future and have doubts over whether or not they’ll be able to hold onto Doughty for next season amid a period of financial uncertainty.
