Some Celtic fans have slammed Tom English after he recently relayed an update from Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Twitter.
English’s latest tweet saw him share Inverness’ latest tweet. The club slammed the Daily Record in their statement, as the outlet had released an article talking about how Scot Gardiner has been wanting to declare Scottish football null and void.
English shared this tweet, saying that Celtic fans have no need to ‘bombard’ him with any ‘abuse’ and that he’s ‘heard it all’ before in his career.
On seeing this tweet though, Celtic fans indeed were angry. They mocked the tweet.
Also why do you still refuse to post about Dunfermline, Brechin or anyone else who goes against the grain? Where is the balance?

Does Tom English have an agenda against Celtic?
Of course
No
Scot Gardiner’s minister for propaganda speaks. Pathetic.

Six clubs accuse ICT of suspect behaviour and Intentions. You, of course, side with whoever‘s backing the ibrox club. Zero professionalism. Even neutrals see you’ve got an agenda. Poor show. From which your rep will never recover.

Abuse? Pointing out your “one sided from the beginning” view on all this

You’ve been a campaigner, not a journalist. Not good enough by any measure @BBCSportScot

No abuse. Just highlighting how bad you’ve performed the last fortnight

The Daily Record had released some exclusive piece of information against Inverness recently. They had said that the club’s chief executive Gardiner has been keen on null and voiding the leagues in Scotland so that there is no relegation and no titles are awarded. This is the article that Inverness have protested against.
What do we think?
The tweet that English sent out hardly shows that he is biased in favour of the null and void stance. He is just sharing a piece of information that is adding more to the developing situation around the SPFL vote.
In that sense, Celtic fans shouldn’t be so harsh on English. He isn’t showing any bias for anyone in this tweet.
