Some Celtic fans have been fuming at Ally McCoist after some of his comments emerged on social media recently.
McCoist recently made an appearance on TalkSport (via Daily Record) and he talked about Celtic’s Premiership title win.
He said that there will be an ‘asterisk’ placed beside the Hoops’ latest title triumph, despite admitting Celtic have been the ‘best team’ in the league this season. McCoist also said that their Old Firm rivals could have caught them in the title race, even though it was ‘unlikely’.
The Daily Record relayed McCoist’s comments on Twitter and many Celtic fans were left to fume about this.
Their tears are delicious.

Does McCoist have a bias against Celtic?
Yes
No, he's right
Staunch till the bitter end. An end that’s coming real soon. The 10 will bury them forever.

Celtic were awarded the Premiership title after a board meeting on Monday.
The Hoops were 13 points clear at the top of the table, while they had won the League Cup by beating Rangers in the final and had also reached the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
Celtic fans don’t seem too happy with what McCoist has to say. Considering his links with Rangers, they are bound to have objections against his opinion, though it is difficult to argue against their 13-point lead making the Hoops more deserving of winning the title more than anyone else.
