Some Celtic fans have slammed Gavin Rae after some of his comments caught their attention on Twitter.
Rae was recently talking to The Herald in an interview and he talked about his former club’s chances of winning the Premiership title.
Rae said that while Celtic are ‘so far in front’ of the other teams in the Premiership title race, they can ‘still be caught’ by the Gers.
These quotes from the former Ibrox man were relayed on Twitter by the Scottish Sun. Many Celtic fans flocked to it and made their anger for Rae clear.

In the same interview, Rae did praise Celtic too. He said that the Hoops players are ‘seasoned winners’ because of how many trophies they have won in the past.
He said that Celtic players know how to ‘knuckle down’ and get results when times get tough. The former Gers man also claimed that Celtic are ‘seasoned pros’ and are more ‘used to’ winning trophies in recent years.
What do we think?
The full quotes of Rae’s interview suggest that he doesn’t exactly have a one-sided or biased opinion about how the title race will pan out. But considering his background with Celtic’s Old Firm rivals, Bhoys fans are bound to be angry at the comments he has made about the Premiership title.
