Some Celtic fans have slammed Ann Budge after a post involving the Hearts owner went viral on Twitter.
Budge recently released a statement on the official Hearts website, saying that she is ‘bitterly disappointed’ at how other Scottish clubs aren’t supporting Hearts enough in their attempt to restructure the football pyramid in the country.
As per PlanetRadio, Budge had initially hoped to convince clubs to revamp the Premiership into a three-tier system to deal with the pandemic, which would see the Scottish top flight feature as many as 14 teams – and would have allowed relegation-threatened teams such as Hearts to survive.
This update was relayed on Twitter by Superscoreboard recently. Many Celtic fans flocked to it and made their disagreement very clear.
Do you like Budge's idea of Premiership reconstruction?
It's pointless!
I like it
Look at the state she’s got her own club in. A shambles. They won 4 games out of 30. Why would any chairman worth their salt listen to her rules? Bolt, Ann. Enjoy the championship.

It’s a joke, we are in a global crisis. It’s about football integrity, Celtic Champions, Hearts go down ( give them a parachute payment) and we move on.Anyone who thinks different are kidding themselves on and won’t catch on until they get a call from a hospital. Call it SPFL.

What do we think?
Budge’s plan to revamp the league would have ensured that her club would survive even if they are to finish 12th upon the uncertain conclusion of the current Premiership season. In that sense, Celtic fans have understandably smelt a rat – and aren’t best pleased.
