Some Celtic fans have been raving at a post involving a Superscoreboard radio show that caught their attention on Twitter recently.
A Celtic fan recently relayed an audio conversation on the Superscoreboard radio show.
It had a fan of Celtic’s Old Firm rivals talk about the Hoops’ recent title win. He said that the club winning their ninth league championship in a row this time around ‘isn’t the same’ as Jock Stein’s Celtic side recording the same achievement years ago. He also said that it isn’t ‘reasonable’ to count the nine Premiership titles from the time when the Gers were in the lower divisions of Scotland.
But Hugh Keevins responded to this fan, saying that Rangers had to play in the lower divisions because the people who ran the club took them into administration and liquidation.
Many Celtic fans flocked to this tweet. They loved what Keevins had to say about the whole situation.
Ha ha @shinjukushug right at the end. Brilliant ?

What do we think?
Celtic fans clearly seem pleased by how Keevins defended the fact that they have been awarded the Premiership title. While this win has come under rather indifferent circumstances because of the pandemic, the fact that the Hoops were 13 points clear at the top and hadn’t lost a single league game in 2020 shows that they were the closest to winning the title and were fully deserving of being named champions.
