Some Celtic fans have been talking about Neil Lennon and his appointment as the club’s manager last year.
Celtic supporter Harry Brady recently posted on Twitter, saying that he had initially thought of Lennon being the ‘wrong’ appointment for the club at the end of last season. But the user went on to laud Lennon and his Celtic side on winning the Premiership title this season.
In his first spell as the Celtic boss, Lennon had managed to win as many as three Premiership titles and one Scottish Cup title (via Transfermarkt). Lennon was confirmed as the club’s permanent manager following his return to the club after Brendan Rodgers’s departure in February 2019.
Many Celtic fans flocked to this tweet. Many of them made it clear that they too felt that Lennon was the wrong choice for the Hoops.
I wasn’t too chuffed also. Glad to be proven wrong. Just shows you don’t always need Hollywood to get the job done. HH Neil Bhoy.

What was your initial reaction to Celtic appointing Lennon?
I didn't like it
I loved it
I’m in that gang too, I couldn’t have been more wrong and I’m delighted.

I was of similar mind – not convinced & certainly not as happy as the rangers fans at Lennys appointment, but I am delighted at the job he has done for us & I’m sure that those same rangers fans may not be as delighted now as they were last May ????

What do we think?
Considering how Lennon has won four of the nine titles that the Hoops have won in their current run (as well as sealing last season’s triumph), it is of little wonder that Celtic fans have changed their tune over the past year which has seen the former midfielder return and continue his success at Parkhead.
