Some Birmingham City fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Blues-focused Twitter account @BCFC_News, which shares a link to a Birmingham Live article featuring four Birmingham City concept kit designs for the 2020/21 season.

This article states that a new kit manufacturer could design the Blues’ kits next season unless they sign a new deal with current kit manufacturers Adidas. Adidas signed a deal to become the club’s official kit supplier for four seasons ahead of the 2016/17 season. This deal will expire before the 2020/21 campaign.

Birmingham Live’s article goes on to explain that they “got in touch with Jack Beale, who runs the popular Request A Kit Twitter account”, who has created four concept kit designs for the club, one of which are designed in the style of Adidas, with the others being designed in the style of Puma, Nike, and Hummel, respectively.

Birmingham City supporters were asked to share which of these four concept kits is their favourite by @BCFC_News’ tweet which shares this Birmingham Live article. A lot of Blues supporters have been discussing the Hummel design in response to this tweet, with some naming it as their favourite of the four. Professional football has been postponed since 13 March in England as a result of the current viral outbreak. With that in mind, it may be understandable why some Blues fans have been discussing the style of kit that their team could potentially be wearing next season, as they have had no professional football matches to discuss of late.
