Some Birmingham City supporters have been reacting to a tweet that was recently posted by Radhi Jaidi after the former centre-back shared some footage featuring some positive comments about him and his ability on the pitch from current Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce, as well as some of his ex-teammates from his time at Birmingham.
Jaidi joined Birmingham City in the summer of 2006, with the Blues paying £2.93m to bring him to St. Andrew’s from Bolton Wanderers. According to Transfermarkt, the former Tunisia international made 92 appearances for the club, scoring six goals before he departed from the Blues to join Southampton in the summer of 2009.
Bruce was the Birmingham City manager who brought Jaidi to the club and he was complimentary about the former centre-back’s heading ability in the footage which the ex-Blues defender recently shared via a tweet. The Tunisian stated that he was “humbled” by these complimentary words.
Some Blues fans have flocked to this post from their ex-player, sharing their appreciation for Jaidi and his performances for the Blues. Read the reactions of some Birmingham fans to this post in the tweets below.

I am humbled by these positive complements from Steve Bruce and some of former @BCFC teammates. Since I arrived to England, my playing experience was full of great memories. I enjoyed every minute of my time in Birmingham. With great feeling scoring goals in St. Andrew's stadium. pic.twitter.com/WiupUm9WeD

And I am humbled by your heading ability in both your own and the opposition’s box.
It wouldn’t be overstating it to say you were the best I’ve ever seen ; inside or outside St Andrew’s ?
Thanks for the memories, big fella ?

What do we think?
Considering that Bruce was a centre-back himself during his playing days, in addition to having managed Jaidi, it may be understandable why the Tunisian has been pleased by the current Newcastle United manager’s complimentary words.
