Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham caught the attention of some Blues fans on Twitter recently after he posted a tweet reacting to the Blues’ quarter-final exit in the EFL Football Manager Cup.

This virtual tournament saw 54 EFL clubs face off against one another in the ‘Football Manager’ computer game. 35-year-old goalkeeper Lee Camp was selected to represent the Blues in this tournament and he managed to help his side reach the quarter-finals of the competition. However, as per Birmingham City’s official Twitter account, Camp’s Birmingham side suffered a 4-3 defeat in the quarter-final to Swansea City, ending their run in the tournament.

Prior to this game, the Blues’ official Twitter account released the team news that Josh McEachran had been brought into the starting 11 in place of Bellingham who took to the bench. This may have influenced Bellingham’s reaction to Birmingham City’s loss, as he took to Twitter after the game to state ‘#CampOut’.

Some Blues fans have been reacting to this loss in response to the midfielder’s tweet, with some sharing criticism for Camp’s tactics. Read the responses of some Blues fans to Bellingham’s recent post in the tweets below.
