Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been reacting to an update which was relayed to the Molineux faithful by Tim Spiers.

According to the Athletic journalist, each of the 92 remaining Premier League fixtures will be broadcast live (per Tim Spiers).

As stated in Spiers’ tweet, the remaining games of the season will be shown live by four different broadcasters, those being Sky Sports, BT Sport, BBC Sport and Amazon Prime.

The post from Spiers comes after the Old Gold revealed that a ‘provisional return date’ has been set for the Premier League, with matches being played from 17th June (per Wolves).

Wolves’ announcement also stated that these games would be played behind closed doors (per Wolves). However, following the announcement in Spiers’ post, fans will not have to miss a kick.

The planned return of the Premier League on 17th June will be the first top-flight action in England since football in the UK was suspended in mid-March due to the current viral outbreak (per BBC).

Football was initially suspended until April (per BBC), however, that was later extended indefinitely until it was safe to resume (per BBC).

So, with the news shared to Wolves fans that all of the fixtures will be shown live when the Premier League returns (per Tim Spiers), fans aired their reactions.

The Premier League’s system seems to be following suit with the Bundesliga, which will have every game shown live on BT Sport until the end of the season (per BT).

As can be seen in these responses from Wolves supporters, while some fans were a little unsure, the majority seem to be delighted that every match will be broadcast live.
