We have exercised an option in John Ruddy's contract to keep him at the club for 2020/21.
A number of @WolvesAcademy players have also earned new deals, while we wish those leaving the club all the best for the future.

Was it the correct decision to extend John Ruddy's contract for another season?Yes, he's class backupNo, not good enough |
The English goalkeeper has been situated at Molineux since he arrived on a free transfer from Norwich City in the summer of 2017 (per BBC).
Since then, he has gone on to keep a whopping 31 clean sheets in 60 appearances for the Old Gold (per Transfermarkt), which has evidently endeared Ruddy to supporters.
Chuffed with this, man’s a class act both in person and between the sticks ?

What do we think?
As can be seen in these responses from Wolves supporters, they are evidently delighted that the English ‘keeper will be staying with the Old Gold for another season.
Having picked up a strong 6.85/10 average rating in his one appearance in the Europa League this season (per WhoScored), it is clear that Ruddy is a strong back-up option to have at the club.
